Hartford Performs
Hartford Performs is the arts education collaborative between the Hartford Public Schools and Community arts. It aims to ensure that all Hartford Public School students have access to quality arts education. In-school teaching staff in partnership with the city’s vibrant arts community drives this goal.
 
Hartford Public Schools (HPS)
This is the website of the Hartford Public District, a resourceful guiding tool for parents and educators. It lists all the public schools in Hartford along with their profiles, demographics and programs. This website also provides important information on public school choice, food and nutrition, school design and student based budgeting. SmartChoices
SmartChoices is a web tool created with the goal of improving access to educational opportunities for all families in metropolitan Hartford. It provides user-friendly, comprehensive information to families and gives them various options for public school choice with dual goals: racial integration and increased quality through competition. SmartChoices is supported by a partnership among Achieve Hartford!, Trinity College and ConnCAN.
 
Hartford Public Library (HPL)
The Hartford Public Library website is a valuable information tool about library services in Hartford for students and families. It provides various links to other valuable web-based education and cultural information about and in the City of Hartford and the State of Connecticut.
 
Hartford Federation of Teachers (HFT)
The HFT is a union of all teachers from the Hartford Public Schools sharing a common commitment to serve children in the Hartford region. The HFT has a long history of involvement both on the state and local level. Their vision is to improve the educational environment for Hartford's children and achieve employee rights and benefits.
 
Hartford Community Schools
A community school is both a place and a set of partnerships between the school and other community resources. Its integrated focus on academics, services, supports and opportunities leads to improved student learning, stronger families, and healthier communities. Hartford Community Schools are a strategy for aligning resources to support student achievement. It offers such as after school programs, individualized homework help and tutoring, enrichment activities, parent and family services and health services.
