Theory of Reform

As the independent, community voice for education reform in the city of Hartford, Achieve Hartford!’s mission is to drive a reform agenda that is informed by research on what works at the national level, and informed by lessons learned at the local level here in Hartford.  From research led by our Education Policy Committee, Achieve Hartford! knows that in order for Hartford‘s public schools to become and remain great schools, the following six things must be present in our city:

Achieve Hartford! works with the community to hold all stakeholders of education in Hartford accountable for achieving these goals.  All advocacy, research and programs of Achieve Hartford! are grounded in this Theory of Reform.
