Message to Community Advocates

Positive change in Hartford Public Schools has begun. Rising test scores, increased school choices and higher performing neighborhood schools demonstrate the impact that can be achieved when an entire district is working toward a common cause - closing the student achievement gap.

Together, we must build upon these successes and keep the momentum going if we want to make a real, lasting difference in educating Hartford's children. We can do this by engaging the entire community in education improvement efforts. That means sharing positive outcomes, empowering parents to participate in student achievement and ensuring that the district understands that we are concerned and watching.
