Paul Diego Holzer Joins Comcast Newsmakers
Achieve Hartford provides education advocacy rooted in the belief that strong schools leads to a strong future. Executive Director, Paul Holzer, joins Newsmakers to discuss how critical shared responsibly is when it comes to educating our children.
Please forward this message to Paul Holzer. At a retired teacher’s luncheon I recently ran into a dear retired colleague, Shari Holzer, who is Paul’s sister. At the luncheon I was selling copies of my book, Ninety Feet Under–What poverty does to people, Word and Deed Publishing, Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Shari then mentioned Paul’s name, and of course i was already quite aware of the fact that Hartford’s and Rochester’s painful poverty statistics are consistently equivalent.
I have been presenting on poverty to local schools, public, and church group forums for the past five years. I just want Paul to know this, in case he feels I might be of some help with what you folks in Hartford are doing to help end this horrible situation.
My work includes current science in identifying ninety impacts on people caught inside it. These impacts clearly point out the fallacy of stereotypes, which are currently, broadly, and errantly used to describe the impoverished.
Please ask Paul to get in touch with me if he’d like that, at either route below. I am also on Facebook. I’m a retired teacher.
My best to you, and I applaud you for your efforts.
